Our Story

You may be wondering why “Hoppily Ever After”? The wedding is in November… not Easter time. WELL, let us tell you!

Once upon a Covid world, Adam worked at a craft beer bar called “Tap Savvy”. Tarin had just become roomies with her younger brother, Tynan, who was an avid Drekkers fan and frequented Tap Savvy. Tynan would always come back home from Tap talking about how the bartender there was SUPER chatty and always tried to get him to try new beers (when Tynan only wanted his Drekkers and nothing else).

It wasn’t long until Tarin gave the spot a try and popped in to buy some “to-go” beers. Only knowing that she liked beers that “got the job done”, but could care less about the flavor profiles, she started frequenting Tap as well. Adam quickly grew interest in this masked up blonde who would come in and seemingly buy the best selections of beer. He was so enamored by her taste in beer every time she made a purchase and would always compliment her on it. Unbeknownst to Adam, she was just selecting the beers with the highest ABV, usually IPAs.

Eventually, Adam shot his shot with the mystery beer babe and invited her to go to a comedy event. He showed her the event on instagram on his phone. Tarin wasn’t free that night, but she took his phone, and sent the link to herself anyways. In case there was something fun happening again she told him to invite her, as Covid had made her crave social interaction. So she slid him into her own DM’s!

Not long after that, Adam invited her out to a karaoke party in his friends backyard. Tarin accepted the invite. They went. They karaoked. They drank. The rest is history.

So there you have it folks! They met over hops 🙂
